KU Women’s Rugby Team March Madness Bracket Fundraiser

Brackets will be released on Sunday, March 16. First round starts Tuesday with 4 “bubble” teams competing to enter tournament (play-in). Second Round of tournament starts Thursday, March 21.

Entering:

The system will require each online player to have his/her own unique user ID and password in order to access our pool. Make sure you create IDs before accessing the invitation link. Offline players will not require one, but will not have access to the pool either.

If you do not register on-line, you must turn in your bracket to a Kansas Women's Rugby Player by Wednesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. (Please include your name and a phone number where you can be reached with each bracket entered in the contest.)

Rules and Scoring:

- Play-in games are not included, winners will be written in.
-$5 donation per bracket, multiple brackets per person will be allowed.
- Participants can use their own bracket as long as it is an official NCAA bracket.
- Brackets cannot be turned in without the $5. If the money isn’t received by the start of the first round, that person’s bracket will be disqualified and not eligible for the contest.

-Scoring:

-A point value will be assigned to each round of the tournament. For each team that is picked to advance, the following point values per round will be awarded:

                              

• Round 2: 10 points per pick
• Round 3: 20 points per pick
• Round 4: 40 points per pick
• Round 5: 80 points per pick
• Round 6: 160 points per pick
• Championship: 320 points per pick

Ties. Entrants may, but are not required to, submit a predicted score for the championship game (the "Tiebreaker Game Score"). This prediction is used for tiebreaker purposes only. If no predicted score is submitted for an entry, it is given a default prediction of zero (0) points to zero (0) points.


Prizes:
- First Place: Kansas Women's Rugby Merchandise, $100 or half the pot, whichever is bigger
- Second Place: Kansas Women's Rugby Merchandise and $10 (you get your money back, plus $5 for participating)
- Third Place: Kansas Women's Rugby Merchandise
